Not sure exactly what you mean.  If you are using POP3 then Tools | Internet options will allow you to setup your POP3 and SMTP  servers.  If you are using IMAP4 you use Tools | IMAP profiles to create the IMAP4 connection.

First step: Create a new Identity

Second step: Got to the Internet settings and fill in the informations you need

 to connect to your server

If you use IMAP for your mails, you've to configure a new IMAP profile.
