MultiPOP mail not retrieved after data folder move

Thanks very much for your reply.  Well that did it!  Sure enough when I edited a MultiPOP account entry it had a path listed for where the mail data was housed.  Once I updated that, it worked perfectly.  I'll work to transition accounts from MultiPOP to use in my main identity instead (just been used to using MultiPOP for years).  Thanks again!  :-)

After moving my Pegasus Mail data folder to another drive (and running pconfig to let Pegasus know about the change) I'm having a problem retrieving mail from POP boxes that are set up in MultiPOP.  Mail set up under my main identity comes in just fine, so I think it's quite odd.

When checking an account listed in MultiPOP I get an error.  This occurs from any account set up in MultiPOP that has new mail.  The status bar on the bottom shows "Downloading message 1 of 3..." and then a "POP3 Network or Protocol Error" appears on screen and states: "Unknown error:  Pegasus Mail has no further information on this error - please consult the trace.".  The message in the Trace information in the box changes slightly based on which server the account is on, two samples are listed below:

Account #1's error:

"[*] Connection established to 10.50.65.253
>> 0005 +OK
<< 0012 USER admin
>> 0005 +OK
<< 0013 PASS XXXXXX
>> 0005 +OK
<< 0006 STAT
>> 0015 +OK 12 647297
<< 0006 LIST
>> 0005 +OK"

Account #2's error:

"[*] Connection established to 10.75.154.61
>> 0059 +OK Hello there. <31058.1205162263@localhost.localdomain>
<< 0012 USER admin
>> 0024 +OK Password required.
<< 0013 PASS XXXXXX
>> 0016 +OK logged in.
<< 0006 STAT
>> 0016 +OK 216 803800
<< 0006 LIST
>> 0055 +OK POP3 clients that break here, they violate STD53."

(Note:  The IP addresses in the trace errors above have been changed for privacy reasons.)

I have tried putting the mail data folder back on my main Windows drive (again running pconfig to let Pegasus know about it) and then trying again, but I get the same error.

Anybody have any ideas why this would be happening, and more importantly how I can fix this?

Not sure if it matters or not, but the drive I moved the data folder to is a network share on a Mac (drive formatted as "Mac OS Extended (Journaled)").  Perhaps something got munged with the copy?

Thanks for any help you are able to provide me with!

The best way to fix this is to quit using MultiPOP and use either identities (same user) or Mercury/32 (separate users) instead.  The MultiPOP extension is not really supported anymore but I suspect someplace in the MultiPOP setup you specified a drive and directory for placing these messages.  You'll have to go through that setup as well and fix the paths.
