I've found there is a plugin that searches text files in general. Although it will not show Pegasus' files as e-mails (just as plain text), you can still search them. The plugin is at http://desktop.google.com/plugins/i/indexitall.html?hl=en. Read the text file carefully, because you'll have to indicate during setup which file types you'll want to include - those should be *.CNM (for your main folder) and *.PMM (for all other folders) files, if I recall correctly.

While writing a plugin for another software programme is probably not something that we can reasonably expect from the Pegasus Mail developers themselves, still, it would be wonderful if someone'd write a plugin to make Google Desktop Search look in Pegasus mail items...

I notice the list of e-mail programmes for which plugins are availble is quite short at the moment (see http://desktop.google.com/plugins/c/index/email.html?hl=en). Maybe it's very hard to write such a plugin?

I'd also appreciate a plugin of this sort.
