IMAP problem?

Thanks, Thomas!!  I fiddled around with it and found I needed to right-click the inbox, then click "Folder Options" to get to the header and body cache CLEAR buttons.  When I did this, I went back out and clicked the messages and VOILA! I could see the from and to addresses in the message, and I can see the contents of the file attachments.

Man, my IT guy about had a cow when I said it was fixed (but then I let him see your E-mail).[:D]

Thanks many times over!!

Several days ago, I started to encounter strange problems my IT group can't figure out.  I have a personal Pegasus (V4.21c Win32) mailbox and an IMAP mailbox.  In the IMAP mailbox, I have suddenly received E-mails from various people where the "From" and the "To" headers are "???".  The messages are blank, the attachments are mostly non-viewable (don't appear as file attachments), and when they do appear (for example an Excel file) when I open the file to view, or I save it to my Win XP SP2 desktop, there are no contents, even if the file size is, for example 74k.

Another person in my group experiences similar problems with this IMAP mailbox and we both get popup messages like:

Profile 'engdoc on storm':

The IMAP server that manages this mailbox or folder has reported an error during the operation you have attempted to perform.

The operation cannot be completed.

We have to click the close button on the popup box several times to get them to stop.

Yet, another person in my group has the same IMAP mailbox and can read the messages just fine, and has attachment she can read, butr we can't read the same ones.

I'm not an IT person, but my IT department has no idea of what's happening.

Any ideas? HELP!  And thanks in advance.

First thing I would do is upgrade to v4.41.  If it still happens I would right click on the IMAP4 folder and clear the header and body cache (this might also be available in v4.21c as well) . Finally if it still happens I would use the session logging to create a session log of the IMAP4 session to see what's happening.
