Behaviour on trying to maximise Pegasus from tray icon

Anne,

Try Vincent Fatica's XClose32 plugin. Among other useful things, it will force Pegasus to the foreground when you double click the tray icon.

This plugin is not in the plugin area. Links to it are buried in the http://community.pmail.com/forums/thread/3392.aspx thread.

There is one thing this plugin will not do. Many computers have a special key assigned to open the email client. Pegasus will not grab focus when opened/restored that way.

Hi,

I use the neat little Pegasus icon in the tray so I can

see it flap its wings if new mail comes in. I have all 4 relevant

tick-boxes checked in the options.

 When it flaps I double

click it and then get back the regular taskbar entry which I must then

also click and only then does Pegasus pop up full-screen.

 If I

uncheck "Hide the Pegasus taskbar entry when minimised" then it reverts

to the expected behaviour in that (with the taskbar entry there) a

double click on the icon maximises Pegasus. But then if I wanted

Pegasus crowding the taskbar area I wouldn't tick it away in the first

place.

Surely there should be some way of maximising direct

from the Pegasus icon without keeping a taskbar entry on view as well?

Am I missing out here or is this just the way it must work?

regards
Anne

It's the way it works.  First clicking on the icon brings it to the task bar, the second click on the icon will open it.
