Winpm-32.exe is generating errors

However, just in case it might contain a valid message, .cnm files can be opened using notepad, so you can check the contents of the message before deleting it.

As I am scrolling through messages I am getting the following message window:

"Winpm-32.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log has been generated"

What might be causing this problem?  I can send an error log if someone can tell me where to find it.

Thanks!

There is probably a badly  corrupt message in your NewMail directory  (eg: c:\pmail\mail).  New messages have a filetype of .CNM   Locate these files in Windows Explorer and Move them to another directory (eg: c:\temp). Restart Pegasus Mail. Everything should now be working.   You can then copy the original .CNM files back to the New Mail directory one by one until the crash occurs. That is your problem message, so delete it. More than likely it is one of the poorly written Spam messages so nothing useful will be lost.
