I am using pegasus mail for more than 12 years, without any problem. The current version is 441. Since recent reset of Windows XP I am experiencing a problem of which I cannot find the cause.
Any message not written in Dutch, my country language, appears with a modified subject header. It apparently indicates the language of the message as inferred from the content.
An example is: [english 93%] Next week's meeting instead of just Next week's meeting.
When I apply selective mail download this does not happen, but as soon as I retrieve the messages from the mail server the language part, e.g. [english 93%] is added.
This problem only happens at the PC on which I had to relaod Windows XP after a systems failure. Using the same version of pegasus mail on 2 other computers does not produce this problem.
Who can explain where this comes from and how I can stop this?
Robert
