Another solution to be able to redefine mailbox path is to delete (or rename) the file pmail.cfg in the program folder. Next time you open Pegasus, it will ask you for your mailbox.

Whenever I want to change the mailbox location I run pconfig.exe and follow the screens.

This works well in Windows, but not in Wine-Pegasus Mail

 Pconfig.exe doesn't start.

Anybody running into this?

 
To circumvent I do my configuration in Windows to adapt the path to the mailbox and copy the generated config file to Wine.

Not very handy. A solution possible?

Since PCONFIG is a DOS program you need a DOS emulator in Linux.  I use DOSEMU to run both PMail 3.31 for DOS and PCONFIG.  DOSEMU is available for all Linux distributions.  With Ubnuntu I used the package manager to load it.  You then go to ~\.wine\drive_c\<PMail directory> to run pconfig.

I'll try to find the suitable DOS emulator for my Linux, Puppy Linux.

Also I hope that the config of the mailbox will be more user friendly and  the program a windows program in a next release of Pegasus.
