Hi. I am totally new and have several questions:

1. Is there a way to turn on automatic mail updating say every 30 seconds?

2. Can I get a full screen of e-mails and not a preview screen a bottom of current hi-lited e-mail?

3. Why can't I delete items with a check in front of them?

Do you want to check your POP3 mailbox every 30 seconds?  I would think that's too frequent and could lead to errors, but the setting is in Tools/Internet options/Receiving (POP3).

Yes, turn off the preview screen by clicking on the 'List' botton to give you the classic folder view. You can then open folders in their own windows.

Which window are you seeing this?  You may have made the message read-only (right-click, 5th item down).

Thanks so much Paul.Everything worked as you said. I deleted the messages the way you said and it asked if I wanted to delete them and I said YES. Do I need to do a refresh to not see them? Also can I see a one line of what is in an email and not just the subject? Thank you again for the help. It solved lots for me.

Did you try toggling the read-only status before deleting?  Are these messages in the New Mail folder?

Pegasus Mail does not display the first line of text from a message in addition to the subject.
