Column width in "New Mail"

Thank you so much!  This helped me too - it was driving me nuts.

I have Pegasus Mail v4.61 running on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

I can adjust the column width in "New Mail", but when I exit Pegasus Mail and re-enter, the new width is lost. How can I get the changes to "stick"? I am using Pegasus Mail 4.41 and Windows XP.

That's strange; changes in column widths for the New Mail folder persist on my system (Pmail 4.41 under Vista SP1).

Ensure the New Mail window is not maximised when you exit.

...which begs the question what you do if you like the window maximized! ;) I keep mine maxed and the changes don't stick. If I have to choose between resizing a column on occasion or the entire window... You'd think "save desktop state between sessions" would do the trick, but nope!

Nevertheless a great program to be sure, and vastly ahead of its time for options and flexibility.

Drag the non maximized window to where it is very nearly the size of the maximized window and leave it that way.

No problem, maximise it afterwards and it will be OK.

Here's what I do.  Adjust the column widths, divider bar or whatever, and save it non-maximised.  Open PM up again, maximise the window, then save it.  From now on, everytime I open the program it will have the window maimised with the settings I want.

That fixed it. Thanks to everyone that responded to my question.
