If you are creating .CNR files, then Pegasus Mail must think that directory is a public folder.  You must have created that for the the user that is working the way you want.

I am sorry to have to ask these questions.  I have spent the past three hours trying to figure out what I have done before but I use Pegasus rarely in config mode.  Nothing POPs Gigantic Mailboxes like Pegasus. 

 My issue is that I want to create a new Mail folder and have the mail drop into the folder as individual messages.  I have this happening with two accounts already but the third account instead has a PMM file with all the mail.  We cannot work with this.

 What has worked in the past for me is I add a new user.  I add a new folder and beneath that folder a subfolder is created which is the email address of the account.  I set a filter for each user by header info and as the mail is popped it lands in the directory I desire.

 My problem is I cannot do it again.  Everytime I attempt this I end up with the new folder and a subfolder named "New Mail folder" which I cannot rename.  Additionally if I log in as the new user I do not see the folder I created as admin.

 My root directory is  D:\apps\PMAIL\MAIL

 I then have  D:\apps\PMAIL\MAIL\ADMIN and I send the mail for admin to D:\apps\PMAIL\MAIL\Photograsupport  which has a subfolder named \newsp.mai where all the CNR files drop..  My second user is very similar with D:\apps\PMAIL\MAIL\regadmin and D:\apps\PMAIL\MAIL\regardssupport.

 But my new user is a mess with no subfolders beneath the mail folder and only the PMM file.

I figured out why I had .PMM files.  (This is version 4.41 by the way).  I created a new folder and set it to Peghasus 2.x format in an attempt to get the same layout I had with the other users.

 Basically a new windows folder was created under the default folder with my other 2 accounts as I described above.  the email address seems to be the basis for the folder name but with an 8 character limitation. 

 Therefore I am at the point where I have the mail popping and filtering in the new user properly except it is one directory level higher than the others and this breaks all my scripts.  But the larger issue is with my other two user folders I can log on as either user and see the exact same folders.  With this new user I do not have that luzury.  What  mess I have made.

 I am sure it is something simple and would greatly appreciate assistance.

 Lastly with this same user I have filters set to move the files into the folders.  They only work if I first select the top most new mail folder and then it starts filtering.  I want it to filter automattically when the mail comes in.  Can You assist with this also?  I again apologize for my stupidity since I really tried for hours.

 I know I purchased the manual once as well but I have misplaced it.  Is this information detailed in the manual and can it be purchased online again.  Hey I would gladly pay the $30 for the answer  <VBG>..
