Missing: Icon for selected maildownload.

Dear M,

thank you very much!! I'm very pleased with your file, saves me a lot of time and accidently downloading directly using the wrong icon as an automatic habit to use the last icon. Oh, and I love the "Review queued mail" button.[:D]

When I saw your txt, it seemed familiar with something I did in a former life.....amazing how fast time can cut your memory in all of these not recoverable pieces.....

 Kind regards, Boy

Hello,

After re-installing V4.41 (see my other posting) I miss the very handy Icon for selected maildownload in the toolbar. I can't find anything about it in the helpfiles. Who can help?

Kind regards, Boy

You can create your own icon bar (TOOLBAR.PM) - see details in bpanel.txt in the resource sub-folder.

Maybe you had this in your previous installation?

Hello Paul,

I assume that will be as truth as possible (in the beginning there was lots of time to play around:-) , but....in my "old"files there is no such thing as TOOLBAR.PM In the mean time I found BPANEL.TXT in the RESOURCE subdirectory, QUOTE:

Pegasus Mail maintains internal definitions for the toolbar in its
resource file, WINPMAIL.DAT: these definitions are usually loaded and
parsed when the toolbar is created. The user can, however, create a text
file called TOOLBAR.PM in his home mailbox, containing the same scripting
commands. If TOOLBAR.PM is found, it is loaded in preference to the
internal resource script.

The funny thing is, I can't find WINPMAIL.DAT either!! All files including system- and hidden files are visible. I can't find them anyway, I reinstalled PM as a multiuser system and created 2 fake identities and dumped the homeboxfolder into one of them. In this identity the button (835) is visible and working and in the other two not.

At this moment, I lost the content of my New Mail folder also, with a remark to reindex the folder to get it right. This folder cannot be reindexed, why? I don't know!.

We'll see. In the end everything has to be in working order again....

Kindly greeting, Boy

Hope this helos...Stay out of Peg, Cut and paste everything between the +++++++++++++ into notepad or any other ascii editor, save the file as toolbar.pm in your Drive:\PMAIL\MAIL\*.*  folder (or the folder you have assigned to store your mail files.)

*.*= folder name you created to store your E-mail, reload Peg. The toolbar.pm file will cause Peg to ignored in the options setting your existing toolbar choice.
