synchronize mailbox on 2 computers

a good way to synchronize pmail is installing the program from the setup file on your 2nd computer in the same directory as on your old computer. then simply copy the old files over the new installed one. this works pretty well. i use it to synchronize up to three notebooks that way. to make it faster i use a sync tool called viceversa, but it should work with any tool you can get. synctoy is a free tool available from microsoft, working with vista.

I use Pegasus Mail for Windows 4.41 both on a laptop and a desktop computer. From time to time I want to synchronize the mailbox files, will say copy the laptop's mailbox into the mailbox on the desktop via LAN. How can this performed on a simple way?

(Maybe the subject has already been discussed here? Anyway..)

I use Pegasus Mail for Windows 4.41 both on a laptop and a desktop computer. From time to time I want to synchronize the mailbox files, will say copy the laptop's mailbox into the mailbox on the desktop via LAN. Essentially it cannot be simply done. FWIW, I use IMAP4 though to transfer mail from the laptop to the desktop since I'm using Mercury/32 as a mail server. Before I go on the road I copy the entire desktop setup to the laptop and on return I put on the desktop all that I've put into a special transfer folder.

You could do something similar without the IMAP4 setup if you wish.
