<p>Looks like it, the Received headers repeat every (approx) 30 seconds, which presumably is your Core polling interval.</p><p>With the filesystem unable to remove the file it would get hit at every poll. </p>

<p>I had a problem with my system the other day.  The first symptom is that I was receiving no e-mail from Mercury.  I checked the server and the hard drive was thrashing like a fish on the beach.  The hard drive activity went to nil after I shut down Mercury.</p><p> </p><p>I asked the board and received the advice to run a chkdsk on the hard drives.  I did so (twice) and afterwards the hard drive thrashing ceased.</p><p>This morning I woke up to find 444 messages in my inbox, all with (unknown sender) and (unknown subject).  The body on each of the e-mails was identical and started with a header that looked like the one below.  It is a legitimate e-mail from my SearsCard.  </p><p>Any ideas?  What more info do I need to provide? <p>This may be a moot thread.  Since I cleaned out my 444 messages, the mail server seems to be functioning normally.</p><p>My best guess is that there was a bad sector on the disk that mercury was churning away on for 4 days.  It kept trying to parse this e-mail but without success. (or should I say, with an over-abundance of success?)</p><p>Now that the bad sector is cleared, it processed the mail and moved on. </p><p>Holding my breath and crossing my fingers in KC! </p>
