Hi All
Pegasus 4.41 opens perfectly for me as <User1> when I am logged on to Vista as User1-Admin (Administrator) i.e. after I enter "User1" in the Pegasus open dialog box.
But if I enter "User1" in the same dialog box when logged in to Vista as User1-NonAdmin the Pegasus dialog simply vanishes and Pegasus doesn't open. This problem seems to be nothing to do with Administrator rights however, as I get an unchanged result if I now give User1-NonAdmin administrator rights.
If I log into Vista as User2-NonAdmin I haven't even got Pmail in my list of programs, though of course I can attempt to start it by double-clicking the application itself - and again I get the dialog box but the box vanishes without opening Pegasus as soon as I enter a valid Pegasus username (e.g. "User1" or "User2").
The mail folders are accessible for User1 and User2 and I am surprised there seems to be a different reaction from Pegasus according to which Vista user I am logged in as. This is a new set-up on a new PC with Vista. I tried changing to Compatibility mode for XP (as I used XP on my previous machine without problems) - but it made no difference. I suspect this is something to do with how Vista makes programmes available to multiple users versus just the installing user - although I'm pretty sure I installed Pegasus as administrator. Any guidance on how to tackle this gladly received.
