Another question : Where are the Emails, polled by MercuryD stored and

in which format ? While testing I remarked that my Emails were received

on the WHS but I couldn't find where they were stored in the meantime.

While the mail is being downloaded by MercuryD it goes to the scratch directory.  It you are simply using the local username in the "Local user" field then it put into the local users account using that username. If you leave the local user field blank or use a user@domain.com address it is passed to core for processing.  Mail is stored in RFC 2822 format in a *.CNM file in the users local mail directory.

FWIW, have you installed the  MercuryP (POP3) or MercuryI (IMAP4) hosts so that Outlook has something to talk to?

We have a domain name hosted by the IT provider.  We use several aliases such as john@domain.com, paul@domain.com, peter@domain.com, all using the same user/password (one alias provided by the IT provider) to download the Emails. Now I installed Mercury32 on my Windows HS.  Also Mercury 32 collects the mail through the POP3 client. (MercuryD). Because 3 kids have all an individual PC and  use Outlook(03) to send/receive email, I want to know if there exists an Outlook connector in order to route the through MercuryD received Emails to the corresponding PC or user. If not, what do I have to do in Mercury32 ? I remarked that Outlook doesn't recognize the Mercury mail server or do I something wrong ?

Make sure you have a local mailbox in Mercury for each of your users. In MercuryD configuration leave Local user blank to have messages delivered to local users. Messages will be stored in the mailbox directory for each user. Put the admin mailbox as Default user to make sure no messages are lost if a name match isn't found. Check Mercury help for more information on the settings.

You will then need to set up an account in each Outlook client for the correct Mercury user, specifying the Mercury computer as POP3 (or IMAP) server in the settings.

One thing I found out here, Mercury/32  does recognize the user@domain.com user name in a MercuryD setup.  In this case is you are using the user@domain.com as the username to download only mail from that user from the ISP then you might be able to setup a MercuryD download for each user and use their local user@domain.com in the "Local user" field to deliver the mail. This would be one of the MercuryD setups.

 POP3 host:  pop.isp.com

 Username: david@domain.com                           Password: <password>

Local user:  david@domain.com                          Default user: david

This assumes that you have setup Configuration | Mercury core | Domains  of domain.com.
