Hello,
A user of mine has developed a problem where his Pmail 4.41 downloads new e-mails (there is a .cnm file in his mail directory and Pmail says that it has downloaded new mail), but the New Mail folder doesn't refresh. The relevant options are enabled and I have waited for them to refresh, but nothing seems to happen. If I click the 'Open or re-scan your New Mail folder' button, the e-mails show up. It's like Pegasus' internal timer isn't working or something.
The user's New Mail folder /is/ large -- 770+ messages and lots of attachments for ~600 megs.
Is is likely just the size of the folder or could something have broken?

From the help:
Refresh the new mail folder view every x secs This option controls how frequently Pegasus Mail should scan your new mail folder for new mail while the newmail window is in the foreground. The default is to update the list every three seconds, but this can generate a lot of Network traffic and can degrade your machine's performance, especially if you are connected to your server across a slow link. Setting this field to -1 will disable new mail polling altogether - the new mail window will only be updated when you explicitly choose "New mail" from the "File" menu, or click the "New mail" Icon in the toolbar. If your new mail folder contains more than 750 messages, Pegasus Mail will stop doing automatic updates of the folder for performance reasons, and will check for new mail in your new mail folder less frequently.
