Making Pegasus the default email system

This does NOT however make Pegasus the default system mailer it will, for example, still not appear in the list displayed by the "Add Remove Programs -> Set Program and Access defaults Tab".

There is however a thread about this in the beta discusions forum and for those with experience Michael (AKA idw) has posted instructions on how to do it.   When I got the edit right in my registry and set Pegasus as the default email client I found that OpenOffice now used Pegasus as its default email client.

I have Pegasus finally working properly, but I want to make it my default email system.  That will enable me to click on an email address in a website and quickly get to Pegasus so I can compose the message.  How do I make it the defualt email system?

You can go to Tools, Options, then Hyperlinks (under the "Incoming mail" header).  You will see a button labelled "System Mailer".  Just click on that and you're in!

I wonder how many people will guess that it's at the bottom of Hyperlinks. Wouldn't it be better placed in Basic Settings?

And maybe with a message box at first launch, like Mozilla stuff?
