Hello, and apologies if this has already been answered - I looked but could not find.
I have a friend using Pegasus Mail. She has a problem with reply and reply all, as described below. It is seriously annoying some of her friends. Executive summary: She really needs her reply to default to single reply every time. It seems to be changing to "reply all" if she ever uses that. This is, as we are all aware, rather dangerous.:
"I use Pegasus Mail and it has a "Reply" button that then opens a dialog box
that I then have to select the "Reply All" option or choose from various
categories of replies that I want. If I just hit return it only replies to the
sender. If I select "Reply All" it defaults to that and all future replies go to all
unless I catch it. That has problems too. Yes, I really wish they had a one
click "Reply All" but it has many other complex features that I use for many
other activities... "
She is "overcoming" this when replying to her group of friends by using a separate mailing list and pasting that in. The problem is that she sometimes replies to EVERYONE in her giant list rather than the few it was actually sent to (a subgroup).
Why is there no easily accessible "reply all" button? Is there some secret setting, or can she do something that will alleviate this problem? She is the sort of person who obviously doesn't like to take too many steps to do things, and she is easily distracted.
I used Pmail waaay back in the very early 90s. I use a mac now so can't investigate this myself.
Hoping you can help.
