Folder name gone

[quote user="Thomas R. Stephenson"]

Anyway, my problem is sometime one of my folder name just gone (blank).

I assume the only problem is one where the folder name is blank.

4.  If step 2 fails then I would delete the original folder and rename the temp folder to match the original folders name.  You will need to reset any filters/identities pointing to this folder.

Yes indeed.

I've done it step 1-4, but without reseting filters to this folder. So I will do this first, before I go to the step as pointed from the link above.

Thanks for all help.

Cheers,

Hi,

I'm new in this community, maybe there has been posted already my problem.

Anyway, my problem is sometime one of my folder name just gone (blank). The only thing I do is, I've set filtering rule move emails from inbox to this folder when the folder is open.

Thanks for all reply.

By the way, I'm using Pegasus [win32] ver 4.41

I assume the only problem is one where the folder name is blank.  The first thing I would do is right click in the blank folder and  select "Check consistency" and if this is alright then right click "Recover deleted space".  If both work then I would just rename the folder.  If either of these fails then I would:

1.  Copy all the messages to a temp folder.

2.  Delete all the messages in the original folder and then do the "Recover deleted space"

3.  If step 2 works then move all the mail back from the temp folder and rename the original folder.

4.  If step 2 fails then I would delete the original folder and rename the temp folder to match the original folders name.  You will need to reset any filters/identities pointing to this folder.
