One of our more experienced users has just started having a problem with most of the emails he sends looking like HTML source code when they arrive.   Here is one of his emails as it appeared when opened by a user here whose copy of Pegasus does not corrupt other messages:

Here is the same mesage when saved as an HTML file and opened with firefox:

Richard,

By settig the macro values to 32 and 48 the capstan motors are

off,  which will have the same effect as turning power to the

RS325

Kevin

Does anyone have any ideas how to resolve this because at the moment I'm stumped.    All our systems are currently fully updated copies of WindowsXP.

Hallo Kevin,

I recently had this happen to me too, fortunately only for one message.

In my case, the option under "Tools/Options/Outgoing Mail/Messages and Replies/Use MIME features" for some reason was OFF, whereas it should normally be ON. (Thank you Paul Whelan). In addition, I had created the message partly using Copy/Paste and this had set "Rich Text" on. This can be prevented by "......./Message Formatting/Always paste plain text...." (Thank you Tony Crawford).

Best wishes

Gerald Corbett
