Did you set - for every identity separate - the Internet options? You can find them under Tools - Internet options...
So you select ie. Identity 'Joe' and you change the Internet options and the settings (I wrote earlier) under Tools - Options... - General settings - Basic settings

It isn't possible to set up a "To" column in the New and Read inboxes.

I just installed Pegasus on my XP Home edition OS.

 I have set up several accounts that I receive mail from -- e.g. Joe@email.com, Frank@email.com, Mary@email.com, etc.

 All the accounts have the same basic POP3/SMTP configuration.

 Could someone please advise:

(1) How to set up a "To" column in the New mail and Read mail folders - so I can distinguish the mail sent to Joe, Frank, etc.

(2) How do I set up different "From" names for each of these accounts?

(3) Relatedly, how do I send mail from different accounts?

For my purposes, sometimes I need to send an email from (through) the Joe account, sometimes the Frank account, etc.

But when I start a new mail message (click on the icon for that), it's not clear who it's from (or, who it will display as being from to the recipient), of the several accounts I have set up.

 I've set up different identities, but when I send a new email, with a particular identity selected, the received email is not from the selected identity.

I think I will need to play around with it a little more... I may be missing a step.  There must be a way to do that.
