Folders won't open

A friend of mine installed version 4.41 (same version i am running) and he is having problems with his folders not opening.

This is a brand new install.

He is receiving email just fine - no problems there - he has moved a few emails to folders that he has created, but he is not able to access the folders (after the fact).

 

Longer version:

If he clicks the folder icon on the toolbar, the folders never open. If he opens an email and clicks Copy/Move, he can move the email to a folder and he can even create a new folder.

I know it is a simple fix... please post the solution! <grin>

I suspect the folder is opening but just cannot be seen.  Have him try using the Windows | Cascade or Tile to bring all windows into the view area.
