Thomas,Thanks for your quick reply.
I have a number of pmr/pm! file pairs. I renamed the pairs one at a time with no results.
Not sure what you are doing but when PMail shows up with an address in multiple books it's found multiple PMR/PM! file pairs with the address in the book.
Then I search for all the *.ini files in my "pmail" folder where Pegasus Mail is installed.
WinPMail checks in the HOME mail directory, the same directory as the WinPM-32.exe file and the directory where the PMR MSDOS variable is pointing. Did you check these locations as well? In any case, search for all PMR/PM! file pairs on any connected drive/directory.
I could not find any references to pmr/pm! in these files.
How am I doing? Apparently not very well, but I'm sure you can straighten me out.
Thanks so much for your help.
