New mail folder has disappeared from Folder list

[quote user="Tabitha"]

This suggestion didn't do the trick, but it did point me in the right direction.  I will need to copy a few folders, but I've got my new mail folder back.

Not sure what you mean.  You said you were missing the new mail folder in the folder listing.  Were you missing other folders as well? If so you probably have a bad hierarch.pm as well.

Thank you for your help.

My isp experienced a pop3 blip while I was checking my mail last week.  Pegasus closed and most of my settings were lost.  I've been able to restore most of the settings, but my new mail folder has disappeared from my folder list and I can't figure out how to add it back in.  As a result, I can't use the preview screen and I must close my folders before I close Pegasus or my new mail folder will not open next time I use Pegasus.  I am using version 4.21, fwiw.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

 Tabitha

1.  Use Help | About Pegasus Mail | Info to locate you home mail
    directory.

2.  Exit WinPmail.

3.  Edit the file state.pmj and delete the line starting with the
    = sign under [Folders]

    [FOLDER]
    =6,1,768,466,"194,310,145,517,35"  <-- This one
    1A7DDE48:34E3:ESVCS=5,5,492,331,"124,175,98,0,35"

4.  Run WinPMail and I think you will find it's fixed.
