Try clicking the View button to switch between Html and plain text versions of the message..   But it does sound like the message is badly formatted.  Do you for instance see the html icon on the message list panel?

I know this has to be simple, but I have been reading the help and I can't figure out a configuration to fix it.

When a message with embedded html is opened or previewed, on one workstation, it doesn't show any text. IN raw view, you can see the text, and you can print the message, or if you reply to the message, the reply shows the text, but I am getting only a blank window if I open the message or the preview.

This sounds like the message viewer is missing, but not sure what that setup is.

I wonder whether perhaps the HTML text is colored the same as the background just to annoy you? Try CTRL+A after clicking in the body of the message.

Are we talking about every HTML message you get? Perhaps your BearHTML file is missing or broken? You could try installing the latest version of that.
