clamav for window problem

Hi all

i just installed the new vesion of clamwall to 1.4 and upgrade to clamav 095a

 

all work fine!!

Hi.

we have a mercury/32 v4.62 installation working fine with clamav antivirus plugin running with the v094-1 clamav version.

 

yesterday we update clamav from 094-1 to 0.95 and the mercury core proccess stop work without any error or message....  rolled out to 094-1 version all become ok again..

 

someone have any info about this???

tBB and others have reported that 0.95 has different responses, so it may be that.  For the moment continue with the previous Clamav version.

As it looks ClamWall uses a command in it's communication with the ClamD daemon which is obsolete in ClamAV 0.95. I've already written Lukas a mail about the issue so hopefully this will be resolved quickly.

Is this safe for production use? sadly theres no info (nor even a link) on the clamwall website!

Short answer: Well..if it works, yes :) 

Long answer: The changes in this ClamWall version are not that spectacular and Lukas tends to release stable code ;) As for the webpage, usually it takes a while until Lukas updates it but the update notice already went over the Mercury mailing list.

 Thanks for helping to be the link in the middle to get ClamAV and ClamWall working again.  It's all working great along with ClamSup.
