Pegasus/Eudora conflict?

OK, what's it - 15 years with Pegasus and I didn't know about the link icon *sigh*
We learn something new everyday, even about you closest friends.  May that's why people stay married.  ;-)  This is basically a HTML problem.  The link in HTML must be very specifically formatted or it does not show.  If yuo always send plain text it's not a problem even with the HTML mailers, but we can't always send plain text can we.  Of course here we always send HTML so I have tyo go through the process of typing the URL, copying it, hit the "Link" icon in this editor and pasting the link twice into the link editor to get a clickable link.   i.e. http://www.pmail.com

Hi All:

I have a couple friends who use Eudora, and no matter what I do, there seems to be no ability for Eudora to correctly receive clickable links from Pegasus.  They always have to copy and paste.  Links to them from all other mail programs are fine.

Are there any ex-Eudora users here who might be able to give some hints about how a fix can be accomplished?  The Eudora users are not highly techie folks so they may be missing something simple.

Thanks so much,

~marilyn

If sending plain text just enter the url  fully, i.e http://www.pmail.com   When sending "Rich text"  select the "Link" icon and enter the URL in both the Text and URL to force the link, i.e http://www.pmail.com

How are you sending the links?  Rich text?  Are you typing the full 'http://www.' version of the link?

I'll try that, though it's a pain in the butt, since I just copy and paste my links and don't have to do anything else on any other program.

I do use rich text.

Thanks to both Thomas and PaulW for your help.
