Rolf - I think you are right, it does seem to be a client (Outlook Express) issue. I tried OE on a third machine on the LAN and neither "Deleted Items" nor "DD-WRT" are available to subscribe to. On the hand, I have tried the webmail interface that I run (SquirrelMail), and it shows both of these folders. Similarly, I can use Thunderbird on the first two machines (it is not installed on the third one) and this also shows both folders.
So it looks as if it may be a problem with OE. I'll try to find an OE usergroup and see if there is any knowledge there about this issue.
I don't particularly want to use OE, and would prefer to use Thunderbird. However, as I have raised on other occasions on this forum, I have trouble using Thunderbird with Mercury, as messages sometimes have blank content, even though the content exists on the server. I have never solved this problem, unfortunately.
