Hi. Just migrated to a new computer, everything's working fine BUT the new machine came with an auto-logon for Administrator.
In going in to set up a new User and Password, I get a msg saying "You are creating a password for [Harry, let's say]. If you do this, Harry will lose all EFS-encrypted files, personal certificates, and stored passwords for Web sites or network resources. To avoid losing data in the future, ask Harry to make a password reset floppy disk."
My questions: if I go ahead and do this, will Pegasus Mail lose usernames, passwords, and/or other settings I need to send and receive POP/SMTP mail from my websites?
If so, where can I find these pw/un etc. in order to re-enter them after I do this. (The term "password reset FLOPPY DISK" has me thinking Microsoft's documentation may be slightly out of date...)
Or can I just assign a password to Administrator and skirt the issue entirely? (Any dangers there?)
I'm using PM 4.21c on XP Pro (32 bit).
Thanks! JM
