<P>Ok, setup another pop3 account on another server.  Got the same error using that same email with the Excel sheet attached.  </P> <P>It isn't the size of the attachment or necessarily an Excel/Word attachment problem in that we get other Word/Excel documents from other people or even that same person.  The same sender can then send a different Excel sheet and it will come thru.  We have had the sender try to send that same attachment several times and it will not come thru.  </P> <P>It is not always the same sender, it is very random.  </P> <P>We have taken that same Excel sheet cleared all contents and saved it as the same name and different name and the Excel sheet will not come thru.  It doesn't appear to be a timeout problem as the error occurs immediately upon download of that email.</P>

we are checking just one Pop3.

Received the Excel spreadsheet and tested it by sending it to my local ISP account and GMail and downloaded by two separate instances of MercuryD.  No problems at all.  Running Mercury/32 on WinXP Pro and MCE.  Tested with both v4.62 and v4.70 (RC2).  I still suspect that your problem is at the winsock level and might be a packet fragmentation problem.

<p>Got is as well (the address was slightly misspelled, but I found it in the Admin mailbox), and have sent it out several ways, including having it picked up by MercuryD, all worked. Do you have any anti-virus software running on the server that might trigger on anything in this specific Excel sheet?</p><p>/Rolf </p>
