1.  Use Help | About Pegasus Mail | Info to locate the HOME mail
    directory.

2.  Use File Manager or Explorer and go to this directory and
delete the zero length PMO, PMX and PMW files.

forgive my delay in getting back to you on this. At first, I could find no zero length files, but i decided to look at the date of the errant message and look up all files on that date.  THEN i found the offending PmW file.  deleted and all is good now.  THANKS!!

My wife is having problems with Pegasus mail.  (Ver. 4.41, operating system Windows XP) She's been using this program for many years without incident and suddenly a problem has crept up.

When she goes to close the program, she gets amessage about a cached mail, and do you want to send it now.  Regardless of what she clicks, the program closesOnce she opens the program again, the phantom email is in her cache again.  She can go to the cache itself, delete the mail she finds there and yet the message still pops up when she goes to close the program.

She can even open the email, which is blank, no attachments and she can delete it any number of times.  No change.

 Any ideas?
