I am new to pmail. Could you please tell me how I can get pmail to recognise my provider's dial-up telephone number? I can send and receive email using pmail, but only if I first dial up using another application such as Thunderbirb. Regards Stan.

Use Tools | Internet options | Dialing  and select "3: Use IE4/Win98 dialling functions in WININET.DLL "

If you have installed Microsoft Internet Explorer v4.0 or later on your system, or if you are using Windows 98 or later, then you will have a Microsoft system component called WININET.DLL, which provides excellent dialup support. When WININET services are available, they are usually the best and cleanest way of handling your connections.
