Can't connect to admin interface of 'Web tools for Mercury/32'

The only thing I can think of is if you have more than one installation of Mercury on your computer. Make sure that WebRoot in http.ini indicates the right directory. Will require a restart if changed.

Hi All,

I've installed Rolf Lindby's 'Web tools for Mercury/32' and can connect and logon to it but can't get the administrator view. I have logged on as the Mercury admin user but no different to any other user.

I'm obviously missing the point somewhere. Can someone put me right?

Cheers, Gordon

As long as you log in with the exact username specified in mercury.ini for postmaster you should get the administrator view. Using an alias will not work here.

Thanks Rolf,

I can log on with the account set as postmaster in mercury.ini i.e. 'gordon', but I get the same content as any other user. Autoreply, Forward, Change Password, Logout.

Does anything need to be done other than installing the HTTPServer directory in Mercury and changing the ip address in the ini file?

Cheers, Gordon
