One thing that may need to be done on Exchange 2007:

Exchange MMC

Server Configuration

Hub Transport

Receive connector

Add the ip of the Mercury Server

With the 'new' security settings, Exchange does not wish to accept connections from other SMTP devices. Will of course require a user account to pass traffic.

Hi all,

I have an installation of Mercury mail set up on one of the machines here at work and I'm working on a PHP script that needs to send out e-mails. We use Exchange server 2007 for our e-mails, I was wondering how to configure Mercury so that it relays through Exchange Server. I have fiddled with it a bit but have had no luck.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

You will need to use the MercuryC SMTP relay client.

In the MercC config, enter the details of your Exchange server (and a username/password if authentication is required).
