Device Independent Bitmap

Hello Michael,

yes, I restarted Pegasus and even reinstalled it, with transfer of files from the old to the new program. Apparently I also transferred the problem which, as Tom pointed out, was hidden in the queued message. Removing it did the trick. (I use VISTA).

I copied a text from a journal and wanted to send it to a friend, but when I hit the "send" button an error message appeared: "Error creating Device Independent Bitmap." Deleting the message did not help. Every new message resulted in the same error message; in other words, I cannot send any messages. Is there a way to correct that error?

Did you try restarting Pegasus Mail? What Windows version do you use?

I assume that you are sending via the built-in mailer.  Check out File | Review queued mail and make sure that the offending message is removed from the queue.  BTW, what version of PMail are you using?

Thx Tom, it did the trick (removing the defective message from the queue) (I am using Pegasus 4.1 and VISTA). All is working well again.
