Trigger sending manually

Ive found the same problem, it was quicker (and safer i thought) to just resend the same mail, no good if the mail isnt from you though...

Hi all,

is there a way to manually trigger the sending of messages? More specifically, some messages remain as "Pending" if I send them while the SMTP relay client has no network access--now, as soon as I know that the client has access again, is there a way to trigger those pending jobs rather than waiting for them to be handled automatically?

Thanks for your help in advance!

Cheers,

Felix

Try clicking the 'Poll now' button on the relevant client window in Mercury, and it should attempt to send.

Hi PaulW,

I did try clicking "Poll now" in both the Mercury Core and Mercury SMTP Client, but neither one triggers handling the pending jobs.. One other options?

AFAIK not without editing the queue files. You could however set the period between the job retries to a lower value. See Core Module configuration -> Mail queue.

Best regards,

Nico
