Upgrading from v4.62 with srvany to v4.72

Thanks Peter.

It appeared that step 2) was not necessary, because during the upgrade Mercury had to be stopped again.

But for the rest the upgrade went smoothly.

Hi,

Currently we are using Mercury/32 v4.62 as a service with srvany under Windows XP.

To upgrade to v4.72, what is the best way? I would think:

1) stop the current Mercury srvany service

2) start Mercury manually

3) uninstall the srvany service

4) upgrade Mercury to v4.72

Would that do the trick: do I get the option during the upgrade to natively install Mercury as a service?

Yep, that's the trick - and you get the option to install Mercury as a service.

As always take a backup before upgrading.
