Find does NOT do any thing . . .

Thank you for this info, mine just does not do anythingy, it will remain where the find was started.

Greenman sent me a link for updates to nVidia Drivers and just found that a couple of days ago.  Downloaded that update yesterday and installed it last night/w a reboot.  Still did the same thingy with the find function.  Just did a find after booting up today, just about 2 hours ago, and there was a Shield in my off button, usually a sign there was an update needing a reboot.  So I did . . . and there were several installs done and another reboot needed . . again . . after this last restart a box came up telling me nVidia was ready to be used.  I opened Pegasus and did a TEST find in one of my e-mail and it worked as should, searched for other words and it worked again.  Must have been the nVidia was a problem.  I will also test it on the message I first noticed this problem and report back later.

P.S. It is now later and all seems to be working just fine now, must have been in the nVidia software and has been cleared by that update I received last August and just missed it.  Now I will read my mail more carefully.

Thank you "Greenman" and may I apologize for this late find and to you "PaulW" for your input as well,

Greetings,

Just updated to the new v4.51 Pegasus Mail and works fast and so far very good.  Except for the 'Find' feature in a message, I double clicked a message and it happens to to be from the SANS Organization as I am on their e-mail list for several of their informative messages.  Clicked on the MagGlass for the 'Find' and entered my search and the find window went away and NOTHING happened.  Scrolled down and found what I was looking for on my own and read it then went to the very top of the message and did the 'Find' again and the same thingy happened.  I had done the Copy/Paste from within the message to find an entry that was farther down the first 'Find'.  The second 'Find' was from the very top of the message which placed two (2) entries farther down the page for it to find and still nothing.

I have used the 'Find' feature in earlier versions including the last one v4.42 and it worked just fine this one does not work at all.

Thank you for reading my post,

P.S. Just used the 'Find' within the Address Book and nothing happens when doing a search for an address either.

The find within a message works by repeatedly highlighting the word(s) just as if they were 'selected'.  It may be that your graphics setup doesn't contrast sufficiently for you to see it.  One machine I use has a highlighting fault which I *think* is linked to a printer driver issue, and your problem may be similar.
