Removing Spamhalter?

If Spamhalter is a separate installed program, it must be the one with Mercury.  Pegasus Mail has it integrated and it is always installed as part of the program (although not activated by default).

Hi!

I have just removed Mercury from my system.  I am still running Pegasus 4.41, and intend continuing to do so, at least until I decide to upgrade to 4.51, which probably won't be that soon.

I have just discovered that there's something called SpamHalter 4 on my system.  My guess is that it was installed either by Mercury, but it's remotely possible that it was installed by Pegasus and I just didn't notice it before.  I never use SpamHalter with Pegasus.

Will I damage my Pegasus installation (or anything else) by uninstalling SpamHalter?

Thanks.

C.
