Hi.
Thanks for your newly released v4.51. I have just installed it, and it seems to work fine fro me - upgrading my existing v4.41. However, after reading the topics here in the forums I see that I need more testing before I can dare to trust it for full production runs. But I'm sure the issues are quickly resolved - either by a maintenance release or by workarounds (works for me if they are of the one-time-fits-all-approach and doesn't mean time consuming or clobbery typing each time I'm going to use a feature). Having said that, I am very impressed of the overall quality the product holds, given the big change in code.
Due to the entries in the forums at hand, I have decided to revert to my old, trusted v4.41, and will pick up v4.51 for closer studying in the near future in a "live test setting". Mind you: I haven't detected any problems yet (one of my accounts just hit the 1500 FOLDER mark, where several of them holds more than 3000 emails). I am just being careful.
However, on my initial run, I ran into the following two issues, which is different from v4.41 and not mentioned in v4.51's "what's new" list:
1. The "Change User" entry near the bottom of the menu's "File"-entry is gone. I am unable to identify its equivalent functionality elsewhere, and the help file have no mentioning of it. Is this an omission, or a decision? It is cumbersome to close and start Pegasus each time I want to switch to another user-ID. And keeping several Pegasus sessions alive in parallell makes it too easy to do mistakes (e.g. sending off email from the wrong account). I am all thumbs. :-)
2. Upon startup, (for the accounts it applies to - it is not an error, just a change in behaviour), a message-box pops up demanding a response, telling me that there are auto-saved sessions present and if I want to edit them now - or continue to do other stuff. I seem to have to respond to that message box at every startup. Is there a way to get rid of it - apart from removing the auto saved sessions?
Again, thanks for a nice product.
