a minor thing disturbs: I often use Win XP's hibernating function (not
waiting too long at the next pc start!) closing Pegasus before
hibernating. When starting the pc next and starting Pegasus, it turns
out that Pegasus is running twice! (winpm-32.exe registered twice in
the Processes, and a VERY slow respons when I write a letter in the
address field, probably both processes want to "own" the address book)
How come that Pegasus does not close down? How to avoid?

Just two notes: Why do you try closing it at all before hibernation? You don't need to: Its first attempt to download new mail afterwards (if you've configured it to automatically check for it) may fail after waking up depending on how you connect to the Internet, but it'll work properly once the connection has been reestablished. And if going into hibernation after closing down Pegasus Mail you may just have to wait a bit longer until it has finished its maintenance work ...
