I love Pegasus so much that I have only just yesterday upgraded from Version 3.11 to 4.41 and now today to 4.51. I am also getting ready to install the program for a friend and was searching for the option which used to allow me to decide if I wanted retrieved mail on the host POP3 to remain or be deleted once I have downloaded. It seems not to exist in the newer versions.
It's very easy for me to manage my mail on the host mail server if I am away from my computer but my friend is hopelessly unable to understand how to do that and I would prefer to install a newer version of Pegasus for him rather than install my old version of 3.11 just so I can set it to delete his mail from the host instead of it endlessly building up. I have searched the Help files and the knowledge database on the web site and I can't find any reference to this option. Any help would be appreciated.
Also, please let me take this opportunity to thank you for this wonderful program, which is the ONLY email client I have ever used and the ONLY one I will ever use. At work I am forced to use the Microsoft client within a network and it only makes me appreciate my beloved Pagasus that much more.
Thank you for the opportunity to ask this question. I have never been to this forum before because my Pegasus 3.11 has been giving me flawless service since the mid-90's and I have simply have had no need of help. "If it ain't broken, don't fix it." :-)
