Worked a treat, even done long distance with totally non-literate (computerwise) parents in law.

An installation on a Windows XP SP3 machine has started the following behaviour:

The section on the preview side, where the words From, Subject, Time etc. appear has begun to half cover the menu bar above ( graphics and text). If only text is chosen everything is hidden, if graphics only are chosen they too are hidden.

What can cause this?

The state.pmj is messed up.  Try the following procedure. 

1.     Use Help | About Pegasus Mail | Info to determine the HOME mail directory.  Exit Pegasus Mail.

2.     Go to the HOME mail directory, open the state.pmj for editing and delete the lines starting with V4FP in [General] section of the file.  Save and exit

3.    Run PMail.  You will get the default window for the preview on startup.  Might want to save a good copy of the state.pmj as state.sav to make this an easier fix next time.
