I've seen a recent post to the effect that 4.73 should be out shortly and will fix that problem.

I upgraded our 4.62 installation several months ago, and the scheduler module did not work.

Is there a fix for this ?

To clarify, we download our email from another mail server using POP3, hence the importance of the scheduler module.
