Where can I find the Administrator documentation [manual] for Mercury

I can't imagine why the XAMPP team would distribute Mercury without including the manual, that seems a very poor decision. Anyway, just download Mercury 4.72 from the download section on this site and install it as an update. It won't change any settings but you will get any missing files that should have been part of the installation, including the manual. The WinHelp file needs to be downloaded from Microsoft, though.

Why can't I get Help from this program?

The Help for this program was created in Windows Help format, which was used in previous versions of Windows and it is not supported in Windows Vista.

For more information, see Windows Help program (WinHlp32.exe) is no longer included with Windows on the Microsoft support website.

A PDF manual can be found in the Mercury directory (the same directory as the Mercury.exe file).  Furthermore you can download WinHlp32.exe from the Microsoft Download Center:

Hi Rolf,

My mercury installation was part of XAMPP package.    There are no pdf files on the folder where mercury.exe is there.   Can you point me to a link where I can download the pdf manual.
