Version 4.51 using IMAP from Fastmail Server

Did you solve your problems with Fastmail?  I use it every day, although I don't download headers.

Yep, using the default IMAP4 connection without problems.Here's the line from imap.pm.

Profile: "Fastmail",454657,"mail.messagingengine.com",143,"thomas_stephenson@fastmail.fm",27493,"@c$5Ca;","",120,30,1,"","",0,"Trash"

Can you be more specific?  Have you tried using session logs to document the failures?
