Well I read the article and followed everything per se but nothing is saved anywhere

everything comes up blank and no record is listed.

Still unable to add a mailbox

Having difficulty clearing out mail saved into a folder within Pegasus Mail.

My objective is to "save" messages in another method. (zip, flash drive or floppy) there are attachments and jpegs included

I will go to the folder holding messages in which I want to move

At the top under folder,there is a "save messages to disk" option but when I copy all and try to save in any file

...everything comes up "garbled"

Another option I need to perform to make this happen?  I am in 4.51

Garbled probably means that you are seeing RFC 2822 message bodies (*.cnm files) instead of the messages as displayed in the reader.  Try using "Add mailbox to list" and point at the device that you are using to store the messages to see what you have.

You can use "Add mailbox to list" and then move the messages to the added mailbox instead of doing the save.  It's a lot easier.  Personally though I do a copy and then delete to ensure that the process works before deleting the messages in a folder.  ;-)

Where and how would I  "add mailbox to list" ? In Pegasus? I don't see any options for this
