Am having trouble "Adding a Mailbox" to the list function as explained by Thomas Stephenson in an article Re: "New Filing tray on same level in heirarcy as My Malbox." 1/25/09 ....Tried the steps provided to no avail.
This appears to be a good way to "remove" the messages out of the main mailbox folder to create space if I can set it up.
This concept is okay for the temporary shift but my real objective is to remove entirely out of the current mailbox to store into another computer drive either zip, floppy or flash. no matter how I transfer currently my attachment and/or jpegs are not moving and I get XXXXXOOOODOODOODO type of reading. there must be a way to store and move away from Pegasus.

Maybe I'm slow in the head today but what does "XXXXXOOOODOODOODO" mean?
If I understand you correctly, you want to use the add mailbox option to create a space to transfer a whole bunch of messages to. Then you want to hide this mailbox so that you don't have to see it all the time. This should be simple enough, so can you please tell us exactly which step of the process you are having problems at?
Are you also sure that the messages you want to move are not marked as read-only? You know, with the little padlock highlighted? That also prevents you from moving the message between folders, I believe.
First of all Gentlemen.....I want to thank you both (Steffan & Sharkin) for replying The concept Steffan passed along apparently WORKS and this is what i wanted to do....move them out of Pegasus so save elsewhere in the computer. than you so much.
Sharkin: You are NOT slow it in the head all that XODOYAVEASDFS or what I showed you as an an example....appears to be the "attachment" supplied in the message or some kind of filter. As I look at what i had those do not seem important to save as they are already saved. I originally sent messages with a word attachment and I guess this means some kind of garble involving the attachment.
