Exit WinPMail and go to your HOME mail directory.  Open the file state.pmj for editing.  Go to the [General] section and delete the following lines

FClassic=0,22,304,385,"0"
V4FP=0,0,829,544,"0"
V4FP-1=0,50,194,517
V4FP-2=197,50,821,154,"121,222,94,0,34"
V4FP-3=197,157,821,517

save and exit.  You'll get the defaults when you restart WinPMail.

Hi all

I have message preview activated on Pegasus and I'm seeing the folder list on the left and the list of messages in each folder on the right. Somehow the pane underneath which used to show the content of each message has disappeared. I've changed between list and preview views and updated to the latest version with no improvement.

Even worse, when I double click a message to open and read it all the window displays is the headers - there's no message content shown, just a blank grey area where it should be.

Any suggestions would be most welcome,

This sounds like the oft-repeated problem of the divider between panes being dragged so far down that you see no content.

Slowly move the mouse around at the bottom of the message list pane and watch for the mouse pointer changing to the double-headed arrow (similar to the one when you hover over the divider between the folder list and the message list), then drag upwards. Same thing under the headers in the message reader window.

Thanks for the suggestion but I have tried that: the only time the double arrow appears is when I'm over the divider. It looks as if the preview pane is somehow below the divider line as the scroll bar on the right disappears below the line for some distance as if the messages are still being listed, but not displayed, even though they are beyond the window extent.

The message view doesn't show a double arrow at any point.
